Mrs. O. A. Davis met with a very
painful accident last Saturda' morn
ing when she had her finger caught
in the heavy folding doors at her
home, and one finger was very severe
ly mashed. The injury was very
painful, but is getting along nicely
at this time.
John Farris and Steve Copenhaver
who moveci with their families to
Broup, Minn., a few years ago, have
sold their farms in that locality, and
will in the near future move back to
this county. These excellent families
have a host of friends here who will
be moret han pleased to welcome them
back to the old home.

Ray and Peter Campbell were in
Plattsmouth Thursday of this week,
returning home with their fine new
six-hole Joliet corn shelter that they
purchased from the implement house
of John F. Gorder. This is one of
the best shellers on the market, and
the boys will be ready in the very
near future to look after the corn
shelling of this community and be able
to render the best service possible.
