The Daylight Stcre n u rv.i mm U 5 Journal Want Ads Pay Laughter is recommended by all physicians as good for what ails you. The man who can laugh and enjoy himself is ever welcome in any throng. Laughter is a better tonic than any concoction the apothecary can mix. because it drives dull care away and the patient does not know he is taking medicine. Many a business man with cares on his mind is transported into another land in a few moments when he gets a chance to laugh heartily. It is a stimulant both to the brain and the brawn. Some men make a business cf establishing laugh factories, and then, with the aid of the public, main taining them for the good of all. If you are in need of the best tonic in the world get ready to see Halton Powell's "Henpecked Henry" when that man of a million troubles ooir.es to the Parmele next Tuesday night. The Furniture Man Jj Plattsmouth, Nebraska GUST JOHNSON GETS A JUDGMENT FOR $5,000 For the past two days the police have hud a uiiHcult problem on their hands in the shape of a young fellow who has been drifting around this lo cality for the past few months. The man has been taken up several times and all efforts to get rid of him have proven fruitless, as he will, as soon as released, loaf around on the street and make a general nuisance of him self, and though theie were several oppoitunities given fur him to work he shunned it as though a plague, pre feriing evidently to diift around from one place to another. The young man does not seem to be just as normal as he should be mentally, and although in rags, does not seem to care to make an effort to do anything for h-msc-lf at all. He has been placed at the county fa:m and ran away from there, as weil as refusing to do anything in the way of work and came to town,! where he has been staying in jail st nights and for the pist two days has I !)' en loafing around th-i depot elaimir.a; ! to be waiting fur a ticket to the old country.
