Let her have all the help possible right up to the finish. Demand for Residences. Some few weeks ago the Journal spoke of their being a great demand for a number of new residences in Cedar Creek, and by this time we really expected to see a number of foundations laid for the erection of new residences, but up to the present time not an ounce of such building material has even been sold. We be lieve that a number of such residences in Cedar Creek for rental purposes would prove a paying investment. We understand that there are good rent eis in Cedar Creek right now that want to make their home here, but cannot find property for rent. We learn that there are men connected with the new saw mill that would reside here that are row compelled to travel back and forth from their homes in Omaha. A Clean-Up Streak. Cedar Creek took on a spirit of genuine cleaning up time Tuesday of this week, and when we arrived in the bank on that day we found that Banker Foreman had started the ball rolling by putting a shine on the bank windows that made Sapolio a drug on the market. This awakened the spirit in Lou Mevers, the druggist, and Mayor Roberts, our lumberman, and when we entered their places of busi ness we found each and every man proud as could be over the task he had finished, and they expected every bodv to notice the vast improvement that their few minutes work had brought upon their places of business.
