Fine Entertainment.
The Edna Earl Concert Party has
come and gone, and their excellent en
tertainment given at the Puis & Gan
semer hall on last Tuesday evening,
was one of the best that ever visited
Muriay. There was a little larger
crowd than usual in attendance, but
not near what such an organization
should receive. The promoters of the
Lyceum Course in Murray this winter
will stand an excellent chance of pay
ing pretty dearly for their entertain
ment if the amusement loving people
do not turn out pretty strong for the
remaining two numbers on the course
for this season. The next number
will be given on December fth. See
if the house cannot be filled just once.

The Journal man has for some time
well knew that the Oldham's have been
raising some fine hogs, but up to this
week we have never known that by
the old saying, "that the proof of the
pudding is in the eating," but we can
now sneak from this truly tried evi
dence. We were treated a full side of
spare ribs this week that were simply
fine, and we can now speak for the
riuality of their hogs. They butchered
a couple of fine ones this week.
