DAY SCHOOL CONVENTION CASTOR I A For Infants and Children In Use For Over 30 Years Always bears the Signature of The tit-legates from this city to the County Sunday School convention at Louisville departed today for our noighloring city to take up the active work of the convention, and quite a goodly number were in attendance at the morning session from all reports from Ixuisville. A number from here wer e ao.ser.gers on the early morning freight for that city, but a greater pari of the delegates and workers pro ceeded by auto, which was not as long a journey and permitted more time here to get ready before leaving. FIVE ROBBED IN PULL MAN GAR WHILE AT THE OMAHA DEPOT FALLS ON THE POSTOFFICE STEPS AND INJURES HERSELF This morning while Mrs. Walter Wasley was descending the steps at the postoflice building she was over come by a spell of dizziness and fell to the sidewalk with considerable force, and in so doing turned her right ankle in quite a painful manner, and which made it impossible for her to walk, and her husband was notified of the accident, and securing an auto conveyed her home, where the injured nnkle was treated and it is thought will be all right in a few days. Five occupants of a .Pullman car, parked near the Tur lington depot, were robbed early Sat urday by a man who gained entrance by cutting a screen at the end of the car. ine intruder gatnerea up con siderable loose change and several watches, making his escape seemingly easy. John F. Flack of 407 South Thirty- eighth street was awakened by the rustling of the curtain of his berth. He noticed a head inside the curtains, and when he summoned a porter by pushing the electric button the head quickly disappeared. The porter re sponded, but was unable to appre hend the culpit. Five dollars were taken from Mr. Flack's trousers. Rev. R. H. Housman of 1115 South Thirteth avenue reported to the police that $7 had been taken from his trousers. R. A. Brownell of 1915 South Tenth street lost $11, and II. J. Heebe of Milwaukee was robbed of $5 and a watch. Mrs. F. O. Bar ron of Richmond, Wis., missed a hand bag containing $6 and a watch. Mr. Flack, the only one of the vic tims to get sight of the robber, de clared that in the partial darkness and his sleepy state it was impossible to get a good description of the thief. The car had been brought into Omaha on an early morning train and was parked to allow the occu--pants to finish their sleep undisturbed. TParmele Xheatre! "WHERE EVERYBODY. GOES. MISS MABEL M'BRIDE EN TERTAINS THE JOLLY CLUB Wednesday, October 27th Big Time Vaudeville Last evening Miss Mabel McBride entertained the Jolly club at a kitchen shower in honor of Miss Ritchhorn and Mr. Hawkworth, whose marriage will take place in the near future. Many games were played, after which a most delicious and tempting lunch was served bv Mrs. McBride. The customary mock wedding was per formed, which caused much merri ment. The club also presented Miss Donna Lahoda with a beautiful gift book as a token of their friendship, as she leaves for Alliance soon, where she will make her home.
