Cole of this citx xxould be the man and accordingly his name will go on the ballot as the representatives of that partx the coming- election in November. Mr. Cole has resided in this city for the past year, coming hen from Plainviexv, Nebraska, xxhen he xxas engagftl in the practice of law for .-oine time prior to re moval to this city. The democrat have not as yet filled the place on their ticket for which Mr. C. MARTIN From Wednesday's Dally. The Ladies Auxiliary of tin i-'irsl Presbyterian church xxen most delightfully entertained yes terday afternoon by Mesdames Dr J. It. Martin and D. C. Morgan, at t he home of Mrs. Martin. This xx as their regular meeting and tin first meeting held since the liealei term and it xxas very largely at tended, there being oxer fifty present. The ho.-tcs.-es had pre pared a -hurt program of read ings, vocal and instrument,! music for the entertainment ot their guests and during the after noon Mrs. A. J. lee-on and Miss Ellen Windham rendered sonn sidendit readings.
