MRS. GERTRUDE MORGAN
ENTERTAINS IN HONOR
The pleasant home of Mrs.
(ertrude Morgan, on North Sixth
street, was the scene of a very
pleasant gathering Saturday aft
ernoon, when the hostess-enter
tained in honor of . Mrs. Paul C.
Morgan, of Hay Springs, Neb.,
who is here visiting with her
relatives for the .holidays. The
occasion was in the nature of a
Kensington and some forty of the
young lady friends of the guest of
honor were invited to be present
to take part in the enjoyment of
the afternoon, and much pleasure
was derived in visiting ami in me
making of different dainty ar
ticles such , as only the ladies
know the secret of preparing.
During the course of the after
noon -a very tempting two-course
luncheon was served by the hos
tess, .assisted by Misses Mary E.
Foster, May Murphy and Emma
Myers, which served to add a
very pleasant touch to the al
ready much enjoyed afternoon,
and it was with great regret that
the c.nmuany departed, but all
felt great pleasure in having been
able to spend a few hours with
their friend. Mrs. Morgan.
YOUNG WOMEN: NUMBER
SURPRISING.
The number of young women
who suffer with weak back, dizzy
and nervous spells, dull headache
and weariness is surprising. Kid
ney and bladder ills cause those
troubles, but if Foley Kidney Pills
are taken' as directed relief fol
lows promptly, and the ills dis
appear. Contains no habit-form
ing drugs. Tor sale by all drug-

Box Social a Success.
From ivridav's JJaily.
The bux social held at Ihc
Jean school house, southwest of
this city, last evening was a most
enjoyable affair- ami those at
tending enjoyed themselves to
the utmost in the warm contest
ver the different tempting boxes
offered for sale, and the sale of
the boxes resulted in a neat sum
being cleared for the school. The
school is taught by Elmer Trans
of this city, and the success of
the entertainment was , largely
due to his efforts. - A mixed pro
gram of songs, recitations and
dialogues proved a very enjoyable
feature of the evening. The re

of $10.
