the store of C. E. Wescott's Sons
has been the scene of much
activity, as this firm is preparing
for their second big annual Har
vest Sale, and the large stock of
summer goods that is to bo offer
ed at this sale at very low figures
is being arranged in the front of
the store, where they may be
viewed by the shoppers. The
summer goods are being offered
at a discount that will open the
eyes of the buying public, and
while low prices are offered on
every article in the stoic, an
especial effort is being made on
Hih summer stock. Last year this
sale was one of the features of
the j ear's business and its suc
cess has induced the firm to
make it an annual event, and the
bargains offered this year are
greater than ever before.

Do You Sleep Well?
A very common cause of sleep
lessness is bad hygiene. Per
sons suffering from poor diges
tion, from chronic constipation,
from mental or physical overwork
usually have a disturbed sleep. It
's not advisable to use, in such a
condition, narcotic drugs, the best
way being to go to the root of the
evil by regulating our habits, by
improving our digestion, by
strengthening our body. We wish
to recommend Triner's American
Elixir of Bitter Wine, which will
thoroughly clean out the in
testines and thus give quick re
lief. It is a quite dependable
"first aid" in sudden indisposi
tion, loss of appetite, constipa
tion, headache and pains in' tho
stomach or in the bowels. At drug
stores. Joseph Triner, 1333-1339
So. Ashland Ave., Chicago, 111, In
accidents where a good remedy for
nibbing (ho body is needed, you
should use Triner's Liniment.

SOME EXCELLENT WORK
IN ROMSSOUTH OF TOWN
Those who desire to see what
dragging the roads will do to im
prove them should tako a trip
over the road south and west of
the city leading to Mynard and it
will convince the most skeptical
of the usefulness of dragging tho
roads at the proper time. Tho
road is an ideal one and it is a
pleasure to travel over it, some
thing that cannot be said of all
the roads in this locality. Tho
condition of the road speaks well
for the efforts of the road over
seer of that district, Mr. C. F.
Vallery, and those residing along
this road should feel verv proud
of it.
