A Slight Mistake.
(n writing up the death of
Mrs. f). S. Draper, mother of Mrs.
J. W. Jenkins, the Journal made
several grave mistakes. In the
first place, Mrs. Draper was liv
ing with her son in Kansas City,
and not making her home with
her daughter. She had come up
from Kansas City to spend
Decoration day ami visit a short
time, when she was taken ill and
died al the home of her daughter,
.Mrs. .1. v . .1 K ins. who lives in
Murray, trom wliose dome tde re
mains were taken to the church
and from there to the place of in
terment. The deceased lady lived
in Cass county for many years
and was wei! known lo many of
the pioneer families oT the coun
ty . She was a good mother, a
faithful wife and her good deeds
in lib will be remembered by
those who knew her so well, long
after the body of this noble lady
.has returned to clay.

Wouldn't it be belter to receive
