The funeral services of Miss Blanche Murray were held yester day afternoon at the home of her mother, Mrs. John A. Murray, and were at tended by a large con course of friends, who gathered to pay their last tribute to one who had been so dear to I hem and whose passing leaves such a void in the hearts of all who knew Miss Murray. The sermon was preached by Rev. V. 1,. Austin of the First Methodist church, and was beauti ful in its eloquence in speaking of the life of the departed, as well as full of hope to the sorrowing relatives and friends who are left behind. The Kuterpean (!lee club, of which Miss Murray had been a member while a resident here, sang several of the old, well-loved hymns which had been favorites of their friend while living, and the Milt strains of the music brought tears to the eyes of those who are left to mourn the passing of this highly esteemed young lady.
