Jacob Meisinuer and wile re- j turned from the farm yesterday, 'where I hey have been almost a j week assisting their sons with Hie threshing' and id her fall work. The rains coming so frequently, al though not heavy, were sullicient to stop shock threashing for several hours each day. The threshing: on Mr. Meisinger's farm was finished Tuesday night, and take it all around the small grain crop lias yielded fairly well. Wheal went from 12 to 25 bushels and oats about 35 bushels per acre. Considering: the frequent early rumors that Ihe lack of moisture was going- to cut short all sorts of crops, the present crop yield ought to go a long- way toward reducing; the price of some of the necessities. Food and Consumption. The foundation of consumption is poor digestion, a decline in the work of the digestive glands. The physician tries to create in the patient good appetite and to bring the organs to their regular work ing capacity. He sends him to a healthy climate, gives him sun shine, appetizing and strengthen ing food and keeps him cheerful. Consumption in its first stage is curable and the best medicine is food. In many cases loss of ap petite is the ilrst symptom of this terrible sickness. This should be sullicient for everybody to treat loss of appetite at once. The best remedy for it is Triner's Eli.vir of Hitter Wine. It will clean out Ihe intestines and keep them clean, will stimulate all organs lo work, will strengthen the nerves. At drug stores. Jos.
