BURLINGTON BAUD'S
SECOND BIG CONCERT
Fop Purpose of Securing Funds to
Purchase Uniforms for Mem
bers of That Organization.
No one should forget Hie date
of tho Burlington band concert
Tuesday night, April 1(5, at the
Parmele theater. This band is a
permanent organization and -"one,
that is calculated to do much ad
vertising for IMaltsnioulh in the
future, as it has done in I he past.
Our people should be proud of
I he band, and no doubt are, and
are willing to assist it in every
way possible. Now, they do not
feel like soliciting contributions
from individuals without giving
something in return, and planned
early in the winter to give a series
of concerts for the purpose of
securing, means to buy uniforms.
The lirst concert was given
several weeks ago, and the second
one was deferred from time to
lime on account or oilier local
entertainments; some lime since
the night of Tuesday, April 10,
was lixed upon as the date for this
one. The season will soon open
when the boys will he ready to
play for all sorts of gatherings,
and we all want to see them turn
out in a respectable manner, the
same as bands in other towns.
The idea of these concerts is to
raise money to purchase uni
forms without soliciting in
dividual subscriptions from the
business men of the city to aid
them in this worthy cause. Peo
ple in other cities take great
pride in their bands, and give
them all the assistance possible.
Now is the lime lo aid the Bur
lington band, without it costing
anyone very much. The admis
sion to the concert is only 25
cents, and every citizen can afTord
to attend, especially when it is
given for sut'h a worthy cause.
Don't mistake the date Tuesday
night, April 10. Make your ar
rangements lo attend.

Facts About Indigestion and Its
Roller That Should
Interest You.
Although Indigestion and Dys
pepsia are so prevalent, most peo
ple do not thoroughly understand
their cause and cure. There' is
no reason why most people should
not eat anything they desire if
Ihey will only chew it carefully
and thoroughly. Many actually
starve themselves into sickness
through fear of eating every
good-looking, good-smelling and
good-lasting food, because it
does not agree with them.
The best, thing 0 do is to fit
yourself to digest any good food.
We believe we can relieve Dys
pepsia. We are so confident' of
this fact that we guarantee and
promise to supply Ihe medicine
free of all cost to every one who
will use it, who is not perfectly
satisfied with the results which it
produces. Wo exact no promises,
and put no one under any obliga
tion whatever. Surely, nothing
could he fairer. We are located
right here and our reputation
should be sulllcienl assurance of
the genuineness of our offer.
We want every one troubled
with Indigestion or Dyspepsia in
any form lo come lo our store
and buy a box of Hexall Dyspepsia
Tablets. Take them home and
give I hem a reasonable trial, ac
cording to direcilons. Then, if
not satisfied, come to us and get
your money back. They are very
pleasant to take; Ihey aid to
soothe Ihe irritable stomach, to
strengthen and invigorate Ihe di
gestive organs, and lo promote a
healthy and natural bowel action,
thus leading to perfect and
healthy digestion and assimila
tion. A 25c package of Hexall Dys
pepsia Tablets furnishes 15 days'
treatment. In ordinary cases,
this is sulllcienl lo produce a
cure. In more chronic cases, a
longer treatment, of course, is
necessary, and depends upon Ihe
severity of the (rouble: For such

Peter Bates, Well Known Con
tractor, Engaged to Do the
Work at Dovey's Store.
Peter Bates, one of Ihe skilled
mechanics of the cily, has been
engaged by E. G. Dovey & Son to
make some extensive improve
ments at their store. The plan
contemplates cutting a large
doorway between the dry goods
department and the store room
formerly occupied by Miss Myers'
millinery store, thus increasing
the ground floor space for the
belter handling of the large stock
of goods. The store will he much
more convenient and will be the
only three-front store in Ihe
county, giving this popular firm
of merchants an opportunity to
better display the goods they
keep for sale. The excuse given
by some for going to Omaha be
cause they could not get what
they wanted in Plallsmouth will
be largely overcome when the
goods desired can be arranged in
full view of the customer.
The grocery department will
be moved from the west to the
east room, which will he for
groceries exclusively, and Ihe two
west rooms will be wholly devoted
to dry goods, notions and carpets.
Heretofore the grocery depart
ment has been handicapped by
having a part of the dry goods
line on their side also, but this
line will now be at the front of
I lies tore. Customers coming in
from the street will find the new
plan much more convenient than
formerly.
