Mrs. I. X. Woodford received
word this week from Dallas, Tex.,
announcing the death of Mrs. S.
J. Harnett nt the home of her
daughter, Mrs. J. Chase. Tt was
only recently that, her husband
died. Mrs. Harnett had made her
home in Dallas the past, thirteen
years, and was a former resident
of Weeping Water. She was 80
years old.

his hammer. The nccident occur
red about 11:30 in the forenoon
and resulted in disabling Mr. lUit
tery for the rest of the week. The
injured hand was dressed by
physician and made as comfort
able as possible, but the blow was
so severe that the thumb was
busied and will be very painful
