There was a good turn out, but no organiza tion was affected, as the membership were not yet sufficiently versed in the ritual of the order to warrant Mr. Heilig in perfecting the organization, and another thing which will control, Is the selection from tho list such names as are worthy to be taken Into the order. There will be a second meeting next Tuesday evening at tho same place, when tho applications of any worthy person will bo considered. A Farewell Party for Mr. Peterson. A farewell party was given list evening by the Rehekahs at their banquet hall in the I. O. O. F. build ing, In honor of Mr. P. C. Peterson, who departs next Sunday for Eugene, Oregon, to reside. Mrs. Peterson has been on the coast for the past two months and likes the climate and country well enough o locate there.
