A splendid opportunity will be of fered on Friday, Feb. 25, for the purchase of some fine animals includ ing some great horses and mares, cows and calves, hogs, farm imple dents, wagons, buggies, and a mass of other material and property at the sale of J. E. and J. C. Hanna which will take place at their farm two miles south of this city and 3-4 of a mile north of Mynard on that date. The Messrs. Hanna recently dis posed of their farm and are making preparations to move away and for this reason they 'are going to dis pose of all their property. The sale means the releasing of some mighty good things and presents a great op portunity to pick up some bargains well worth having. There will be some sixteen head of horses and mares disposed of among them being the fine team of seven-year-old mares which took first prize at the carnival in this city last fall. This team weighs 3,000 pounds and should bring a very fancy price as it is one of the best ever brought into the county. The other animals are all high grade stock and will sell well. The cattle includes a fine young shorthorn bull, two years old, eight cows, many with calves; twenty-five head of hogs and a num ber of pigs. Besides there are the us ual wagons, carriages, farm imple ments and the like. The sale will be one of the best ever held in this sec tion and should attract a large crowd owing to the chance for getting real bargains. The Hannas have been noted for the high grade animals they had and for their being up-to-date farmers and this should guarantee their Bale as one of the best in the county. The only trans fer was from Dr. A. E. Walker of Murray to Dietrich Steffens of Avoca of a portion of the northeast quart er of, the southeast quarter of sec tion 10, town 10, range 14, for the consideration of $1,400. A mortgage covering lots 1 to 6 inclusive, in Palmer's out lots in this city given by Joseph Drozda to Anna Sabatka for the sum of $500 was also recorded.
