Tl. post of this city re ceived eleven monuments on Monday from the government to be placed over the heads of deceased veterans whose remains are hurried in Cass county. Bamsey yesterday announcing the death of his brother John, at his home in Loveland, Colo., at ! o'clock Tuesday morning. The Judge, who left here Sunday, did not reach his brother's bedside before his death. John Bamsey was a former resident of Cass county, having resided on a farm near Cedar Creek, for many years. He went to Colorado about live years ago, where he has since been making his home. He has many friends in Cass county who will regret to learn of his demise. A Pleasant Affair. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Barker enter tained a number of their friends in honor of Miss Ethel Luthy I 'riday, May 1, i;x:J.
