A traveling man stopped at Herold's
store yesterday and asked who the

Polk had the bottle which some joker

ment on the part of the traveling man.

morning, was thrown onto tho sharp

ing the sight. Mrs. McDiide tooK

utes later was on her way to Dr. Gif-
ford's in Omaha for expert treatment.
The little fellow was very brave and
sat up in the depot without a murmur
while wailing for the train.
