This kind of weather is not conducive to straw berry picking in Nebraska. Mr. H tells us that the Oregon people are getting fifty cents per bushel for their apples and that the trees yield from twenty to fifty bushels each. Prunes $1.00 per bushel and the trees yield from forty to fifty bushels each gon is evidently all right. Heavy Storm in Colorado, Denver, Nov. 20. A snow 6torm covering practically tho whole state has raged since 10 o'clock today, ac companied by a heavy fall of tempera ture. Shortly before noon the mer cury stood at 66 degrees above and at 6 o'clock it had fallen to 12 degrees and was still going down. The snow fall is not sufficient to interfere with railroad traffic. The Lincoln State Journal, which is the best all round newspaper printed in the state, now reaches Plattsmouth at 7:17 in the morning, and hereafter will be promptly distributed to all subscribers. This makes the State Journal very desirable, coming in on same train with the Omaha papers, and we shall expect to see our list lar?elv increased.
