of the death of the one-year-old child
of F. B. Shroop, at the parents' home

Lieut. II. J. Gallagher, of the Sixth
U. S. cavalry, has accepted the offer
of Gov. Holcomb to "act as instructor
for the Nebraska National gaurd.
A team belonging to II. M. Gait,
hitched on Sixth street this morning
became restless and broke the buggy
tongue, but did no further damage.

river and the work will be rapidly

for taking several thousand yards of
dirt from this side has been let.
