was carrying a heavy timber past some
cars that were being handled Dy tho

timber struck the car in such a manner
as to throw him down under tho
wheels. The sharp iron flange of the
car wheels passed over one limb above
the ankle and severed it almost entire
ly, crushing the bone in a frightful
manner.
