Rice's Comedians played to a pood
house last night a house which en
joyed every act,' and pave evidence
of their delight by loud and rpested
applause. Mr. Kice has surrounded
himself with a first class company,
every one of whitch took the audi
ence last night.
In fact, there is uot afpoor player
in the company, and each player
seems pectiliary fitted for his role.
The great fire scene is prand, and
causes the cheek to! tingle with in
tense exciteincut.iThe play abounds
healthy and hearty hilarity and will
undoubtedly prove a fcTeat success
this season. As for Grand Island,
the appreciation made manifest by
the applause last night, clearly
hows that "Rice's Comedians" have
taken the town.fand our city will
give them a full house,- whenever
they choose to come this way again.
