Messrs. Ashley Johnson and Frank
Beeson have purchased the old Cass
County Iron "Works of Johu Way man
and have already gone to work relitting
the establishment with new machinery
and appliances needed in a first class
machine shop. Mr. Johnson, the busi
ness manager of the firm, is an uncle
of A. Beeson, is a man of euorgy and
pluck, and is financially able to buck
any enterprise he may take hold of
His present home is IndianoLt, Iowa,
though he will spend most of Lis time
here giving the business ins personal
attention. Frank Beeson, who wili
have charge of the mechanical depart
ment, is a machinist of considerable
experience, both in the B. & M. shops
here and at Creston. The new firm
starts out with plenty of work, and
with their new machinery and in
creased capacity for work, will no
doubt become one of the leading indus
tries of our city.
