while we would in a truly non-partisan
spiiit join in expressing our surprise
and admiration at the courage ana au
dacity of these gentlemen we would
bear in mind that in journalism the
truth, once in a while, is a palatable
dish to set before the public, and
would render uuto Morton that which
is Morton's and to David & Co. that
which rightfully belongs to that corpo
ration. We would stand up right
bravely for Messrs. Morton aod Miller
and Col. David & Co., each one coming
in for his full aud equal share of the
anti monopoly divy.
