It is the intention of the managers of the art loan, now open iu this city, to have a grand grand concert one even ing this week, given by home talent in the city. The concert will ue di vided between vocal and instrumental music. Oae of Mr. Pettee'a fine Deck er pianos being in the hall and at the disposal of the management of the art loan for the week. The concert will certainly be an attractive addition to the attractive exhibition already in progress. An order is soon expected, opening the Ouiah reservation (north of Burt county) to settlement. After the O.na Iiaa consent, then a survey must be mads of the part of the reservation west, of the Chicago. .St. Paul, Minne apolis and Omaha railroad, which is the part that is to bo opened. It amounts to about 49,000 acres. After the survey three appraisers, one ap pointed by the Omahas and two by the secretary of the interior, put val ues on the land. Then the Preside nt issues a proclamation and the settlers iuy gv on the land, no one taking to exccd 160 acres. The conditions un der which the land is to be taken are to b fixed by the secretary of the in terior. The Black Crook yesterday attract ed the largest audience that has ever been seen at the Buckingham, and uf foided a great deal of pleasure to the patrons. It was presented in line htyle by the KiralfyV, and was re ceived with every demonstration of approval by the audience The Black Crook needs no introduction to play goers. It is a dramatic spectacle and nothing else, but whatever may be 8aid against the merits of this spec tacle as a drama, nothing but praise can be given to its eceuic, bultutoriul and mechanical excellencies as pro duced by the Kiralfys. Ri rally have discovered much invent ivc capacity in the training and in struction ol ballet dancers, and it i$ to their credit that they do not rest content with the achievement of one bcason, but endeavor to give variety to each annual appearauce ol their ballet.
