pure food. A case in point is just re
ported of two deaths and twenty-four
cases of disease from drinking the

For a long time the well has furnished
the water for half a dozen families in
the neighborhood. About all the mem
bers thi summer partaking of tho well
water became ill, and their ailment

Near by is a foul marsh, the water from
which Is supposed to have worked itself
into the well and thus coutaminated it.
