diction had said were not guilty of

worst features of the whole affair,
however, consisted in the killing of
four subjects of Italy, which is ad
vertising the New Orleans brutality
ill over the world. It was shame
ful that a mis-trial should have been
had, but it was more than shameful
that it should result in mob rub'.
