War on the Missouri
The members of the Women's Relief
' Corps have been having a stormy session
today at Itockwood Hull. It seems that
two years ago the corps at Junia a ac
cepted for membership a lady who was
neither daughter, wife or widow of a
soldier, contrary to the provisions of the
statutes in such cases made and provid
ed. and that the charter of that corps was
taken from it. Another administration
came in and the charter was returned,
which action seems to have been upheld
by the present state administration. Now
comes Mrs. McIIenry, president of the
National W. R. U., and in the name of
he constitution of the order demands
the state charter, which she holds has
been forfeited by the action of our Ne
braska members. '-Does the fur fly?"
I guess yes. The Nebraska ladies who
are loyal to the present management of
affairs, denounce the usurpations of the
National president in vigorous terms,
while Mrs. McIIenry and her friends talk
constitution and endeavor to make out
that they are working solely for thgood
of the order. No one can tell yet what
the outcome will be, but bad feelings are
being gend.;red which does not bode
any gooJl-for the order.

Mrs. Bensbaw of Lincoln were members.
The installations took place yesterday
afternoon separately aud were only at
tended by the members of each depart

house last night to which the doors were
thrown open to the public, but owing to
officious smartness of local members the
newspapers were led to believe that the
meeting was to have been a secret one.
Most of the delegates left for home, a
few however remaining to finish up the
business of the session, which is suid to
have been a very satisfactory one.
