Louisville, Ky. , Feb. 4. Ed Clayton, of the city fire department, and Jack Delanoy, son of Policeman Delaney, be came involved in a quarrel in the saloon at Eignth and Green streets, ana went to the back yard to fight it out. Clay ton drew a revolver and fired two shots at Delaney, neither of which took effect. Officer John Burke rushed in to separate the combatants and was shot in the ab domen. He is fatally wounded.
