Our.Compliments to the Tribund. It is amazing tlint for a dollar a vear the New York Tribune can provide a weekly r.ewsoaper, which will contain such features as are propesed for 1891 See prospectus in another column. No one can read what the Tribune has to say for itself without being struck with the sincerit)- patriotism of purpose, and enterprise of that great national news paper. It has collected a large corps of contributors comprising many of the most prominent men in Americ, and will have long articles from them on leadirg ques tions of the day; anel it is noteworty that the Tribune true to its own patriotic purposes has mide up its list of writers without going abroad for any of them we risk little, in saying that its enterprise in securing Itoswell G. Ilorr of Michigan to explain the Tariff to the Frrmers of the country, will receiye a rich reward. Secretary Busk, Julius C. Burrows of Michigan. P. T- Barnum, and the long list of other special writers will certainly supply important essays. The Tribune is the best of the metropolitan weeklies.and readers will do well to send for a sample copy before making their subscriptions, the coming winter. NEW YORK TR1BUE SCUOPULOUS SOKES.
