Cairo. III., March 14 The Ohio river
fell slightly last night and is still falling
here slowly. The late rains in this sec
tion are supposed .to have run out by
this lime and the rise coming from above
will not materially check the fall here.

The Ohio, being so high, will cause a
iiack water in tin; Mississippi, and this
wit.-r will all run out through the low
la ids of Missouri. Trains from the

delayed trains some on that road, but
