of the world's Redeemer, and verified

of the Young .Men's Christian Atsoci
ation. Old liolton showed us earth's
highest chimney (876 feet); Manches
ter, mother-of cotton manufacturing
and best practical work for young
men 330 boarding (homing) in their
grand Young Men's Christian Associ
ation building.- Birmingham, an iron
city, and home of the most eminently
useful John Angell James. At Edin
burgh, Scotland, a night with a mid
night missionary. Dundee, home of
the Saviour-like McCheyne, dying at
twenty-nine years, but his memory is
a sweet and blessed fragrance. Glas
gow's Evangelistic hall, with its 2,200
each Sabbath morning from the 'high
ways and hedges, to eat' breakfast and
hear of Chi isr? is earth's suggestive
spot.- Hence sailing to America.

chicken ' hunting 011 Tuesday, and
w nen in me act or tiring his piece
being a breech-loading shot gun re
ceived a painful wound by the barrel
of the gun becoming detached from
the breech, and the wadding striking
him forcibly just above the eye. in
flicting a painful though not danger
ous flesh wound. T)r. Hobbs, of Elm-
wood, was at once sent for, who ex
tracted the wad that had penetrated
the flesh, and dressed the wound, ren
dering Mr. Lusk ejuite comfortable.
