"Olo Olson" which closes its engage
lent nt the Lansing theatre tonight has
had a thorough revising by Mr. A.
Hearne, so well known in the dramatic
world as tho author of "Hearts of Oak"
"Margaret Fleming' "Drifting Apart"
Shores Acres" etc. Since it was last
here tho changes in "Olo Olson" make
the play as strong in Its sensational
features as it has been heretofore in
comedy. The greatest alterution how
ever, occurs in tho third act, which has
been entirely rewritten. Comedy is
entirely obliterated from the act, it
being tho opinion of Mr. Hearne that
with bo much comedy (n the other acts,
the play would bo bettor balanced in its
ew form and ho is uudouhtrdly correct.
The 'final performance of "Olo Olson"
will be given at tho Lansing tonight.
John Dillon presented "A Model Hub
band" to good houses at tho Lansing
Monday Tuesduy and Wednesday. Dil

There would scorn to. bo no telling

accidentally thrust his sword into tho
eye of Lawrence Lowell, destroying tho
sight. Lowell wua playing Benvolio,
and when Mercutio (Keono) stabbed
7oaft (Robert T. HnineB) Lowell, who
caught Haines when ho fell, received
tho Bword thruBt in tho eye. Tho sharp
pointed blade pierced tho pupil and nar
rowly escaped entering tho brain.
Lowell was removed to tho Hotel Sch
lossor and will not bo able to appear
again for several weeks. Tho physicians
say tho oyo will bo blind. Mr. Keeno
was very much depressed over tho un
fortunate affair. His wife will remuin
with Lowell until he recovers. Lowell
formerly lived in Seattle.
