orchestra. Announcement is maito that tho
governor, state olllclals, the mayor and intm
ber or tho council will assist In tho dedicatory

isod from distinguished gentlemen. It wilt bo
a gala day at tho Park, and tho poojile of
Lincoln will llud health and pleasure by drop,
plug work for tho while and taking an outing
under such favorable conditions. Tho Park
is but a short drive from tho city, and for tho
convenience of thoso who have no horses or
carriages tho 11. & M. will run special trains
with tickets only twenty cents for tho round
trip.
Tho Messrs. Andrus havo made a tonsstriko
by putting the Park cafe under tho manage',
inont of Ilrowti, tho only Brown. Ho wilt
havo coniotent assistants at hand to servo
all comers at all times. This will bo an im
mense convenience for plcnle partios. Ho
will furnish edibles to order, nnd by notifying
him in advance will bo prepared for any num
ber of persons. On Sunday afternoons from
one until six o'clock lie will servo a regular
dinner, hotter than that of tho average hotel,
for tho price ofilftyconts. But, then, what
is tho use of praising up Brown. Everybody

Commencing Sunday, May 12th, our Fast
Express Train will leave Omaha dally at 9:00
p. in.; Council BlulT Transfer (on arrival of
Fast Overland Train) at 0:40 p. in., arriving
at Chicago at 2:15 p. m., In ample tlmo to
make connections with all afternoon fast
trains of eastern lines. Our Day Express
Train will leave Omaha dally at 0:15 a. m.;
Council Bluirs Transfer at 0:40 a. m., arriv
ing at Chicago at 0:50 a. m., making direct
connections with all morning trains of eastern
Hues.

way of David City, Columbus and Norfolk,
and will make tho quickest time of uny route.
