Yesterday afternoon at two o'clock Claude
E., son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. ICIer, departed
this life after a lingering illness of nearly
two years. Claude was a young man but 18
years old nud had been slowly but surely
wasting away with consumption. He had
been to Colorado Springs with his mother for
the pant year in hopes of Improving his
health, hut returned homo about two months
