Marilyn Burk, accompanied the Deloit pupils to Norfolk on a tour on Thursday. Mr. and Mrs H. Kilmer at- ! tended the school picnic at Grove Lake Thursday. Mrs. Miiry Stearns and Mrs. Maynard Steams attended Fel lowship and the cemetery clean up at Park Center on Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. John Wulf called at the Henry Kenner's on Wed nesday evening. Mrs. Ralph Tomjack entered the Antelope Memorial hospital in Neligh on Saturday, May Uth. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Reimer moved to their new home in O’ Neill last weekend. Their child ren and families helped them m< >v< •. Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Bartak spent Sunday, May 12 at the Cliff Lodge home near Petersburg. Mrs. Alice Lodge of West Point was also a guest. Mr. and Mrs Keith Bartak spent Sunday, May 12 in Hast ings where they attended the Dunaway’s 50th anniversary. It was Keith Bartak s 7th anniver sary The Dunaways are Mrs. Bartak's gradparents. A large crowd attended the Deknt program and picnic on Mrs. Elizabeth Bartak spent Mother's Day at Geneva. Mrs. .lack Bartak and her mother came to the Bartak home on Thursday and Mrs. Elizabeth Bartak returned to Geneva with them. Mrs. Ernest of Neligh passed away last week, her funeral was un Wednesday. She was the mo ther of Mrs. Ivan Smith of De loit. , -Mr and Mrs. L. L. Werner of Norfolk spent Sunday at the Bill Gibbs home. Mr and Mrs. Dana Sisson and family and Mrs. E. L. Sisson and Erect visited relatives m Miller on Sunday. Mrs. Fred Harpster returned home on Saturday. Mr. Leonard Larson’s brother, Sioux Falls, S. L>., spent the weekend at the Leonard Larson home. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Mlinar and daughters, O’Neill also were Sunday guests in the Larson home. We are badly in need of rain, we’ve had only 3 inches of mois ture since January 1st. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Larson were Sunday evening guests in the H. Reimer home. Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Pierson and family visited at the Marilyn Burk home on Sunday. Mrs. R. M. Tomjack was able to return home from the Neligh hos pital the first of the week. Tiie S’t. John’s school was out May 10, the Deloit school and the school taught by Mrs. Dana Sis son, were out May 17.
