The Robert Jenkins family
moved to North Platte, where
they recently purchased the Li
ma Dry Cleaning plant. The
family left Saturday. Linda plans
to remain in O'Neill until the
school term is finished. She is
staying with her grandmother,
Elizabeth Jones. Bob has been
employed at the O’Neill Cleaners.
Bernice at McIntosh Jewelry.
They have sold their home in
north O’Neill.
Mr. and Mrs. Oswald Drueke
have been busy working on their
new home and hope to have it
ready for occupancy within the
near future. Visitors and help

Tuesday visitors at the Henry
Walters home were Mrs Bennie
Johring, Craig and Mark, Mrs.
Carl Hallgrimson, Mrs. Merlin
Anderson and Nancy, Mrs. Allen
Walters arid Douglas. Thursday
visitors were Mrs George Nel
son, Mrs. Christine Johnson,
Junior Walters, Debra Anderson,
Mrs. Bennie Johring and child
ren.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hallgrim
son entertained the home makers
class at a party at their home
Monday evening. The occassion
also was to honor the Robert
Jenkins family who left to make
their home at North Platte.
Mr. and Mrs. Milton Edwards
and family, Pine Island, Minn.,
came Saturday to visit with her
parents, the Hal Rosenkrans
family and other relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Allen Walters
called at the home of Delbert
Rouse Tuesday evening. Mr. and
Mrs. Merlin Anderson and girls
and Mr. and Mrs. Garold Risor
called Thursday evening and the
Rev. Christoffersen and family
were supper guests Friday eve
ning.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lindberg
attended the District Council
Convention at Grand Island Wed
nesday and Thursday. Others
from this area attending were
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wells and
daughter, Mrs. Rueben Redlinger
and Mrs. Viola Hall and the Rev.
and Mrs. Chnstoffersen.
Mr. and Mrs Lyle Wyatt were

Mr. and Mrs. Marriedy Hubby
Cedar Rapids, la , were called to
Ogallala on account of the death
of Mane's sister’s husband, Mr.
Raymond Hulishizer. From there
they went to California to visit
their daughter and son-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. Dale Bass and
family, Chico, Calif, and other
relatives. On there return trip
they stopped over to visit Marie’s
father, Mr. A. W. Marts, Long
Pine and Marriedy’s mother, Mrs.
Carrie Borg and Marvel on
Thursday and during the after
noon Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence
Rouse and Dale, Mr. and Mrs.
Delbert Rouse and family, Mr.
and Mrs. Virgil Hubby. Mrs. Ho
ward Rouse and Lloyd all came
to spend the afternoon and Mar
riedy and Marie were supper
guests Thursday of Mr. and Mrs.
William Hubby. Mrs. Axel Borg
spent Thursday afternoon with
Mrs. Jessie Kaczor.
Quite a number from the com
munity attended the funeral of
Phillip Allendorfer Saturday in
O’Neill.
Sunday dinner guests at the
home ot Martha Johrmg was Mr.
and Mrs. Floyd Long and Mr.
and Mrs. Dave Jensen and Mr.
and Mrs. Bennie Johring were
afternoon callers.
The Paddock Ladies Aid met
Wednesday afternoon at the home
of Mrs. George Hansen, O’Neill.
Fifteen members and 3 visitors
were present. The usual business
was transacted. Grace Borg and
Delia Harrison received birthday
gifts and Dorothy Devall, Mary
Hansen and Margery Nelson re
ceived wedding anniversary gifts
from their secret pals. The next
meeting was planned for May 1
at the home of Delia Harding.
