Dorsey News By Mr*. Harold Osborn Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Barta were Tuesday afternoon callers at the Otto Razicka home. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Ruztcka and Mrs Harold Osborn were O'Neill business callers Wednesday. Mr and Mrs. Clayton Bennett and Donnie were Monday eve ning supper guests at the Gor don Barta home. Thomas Hiscocks and Clay Ma shino served on the jury in O’ Neill several days the past week Mrs. Clay Mashino is suffering with a severe seige of the flu. Lester and John pertekson helped with chores ai the Tho mas Hiscocks home while Tho mas was serving on the jury. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Graham and family spent Thursday eve ning at the Gordon Barta home. Howard Slacks entertained the Bridge club at their home Thurs day evening. Everyone was pre sent and a g<iod time was had by all. Mr and Mrs. Roger Rosenkrans got their house moved Friday. It was the Gibson school house that they had purchased some time ago Mr and Mrs. Lloyd Tach were Sunday dinner guests at the Har old Osborn home and Mr. and Mrs. Leman Huber were supper guests there. The Hubers plan on spending this week with their son, Duane and family at Rapid City, S. D. They will also get to see Mrs. George Thayer as she is visiting with her grandson and family. Howard Wells has returned home from the veteran’s hospital, where he had surgery a couple of weeks ago. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Barta were Wednesday callers at the Wilbur Mitchell home. Edward Carson has been hav ing a time getting rid of the flu bug that has been visiting him the last month. He had to consult doctor again last week to get some relief from his aches and pains. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Carson called on Mrs. Carrie HLnter at the hospital Sunday. Carrie is not well at this writing. Mr and Mrs. Buss Greene were Saturday evening visitors at the Harold Osborn home. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Gillogy and children visited Sunday evening at the R. L. Hughes home. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Brady were Friday evening business callers in Lynch. -.. Gene Gillogy, Jackie and Dan ny were callers at the Harold Osborn home Saturday afternoon Thelma Mashmo had to miss most of the past week from school studies due to having a seige of the flu. Mr and Mrs Gene Gillogy's little daughter, Jacqueline, was bitten by their dog Sunday. They took the little girl to O’Neill im mediately to consult a doctor. It is not known yet if the dog was rabid. Friends are hoping it is n’t. Little Jackie had ctuts under her right eye and one under her chin. No surgery had to be per formed as it was just the pene tration of a tooth with scratches, deep enough to cause consider able bleeding. No skin was peel ed or tom. Austin Binkerd, Kent Washing ton, Marshall Binkerd, Maxine Wasmund, Princeton, Kan., Nyle Binkerd, Hartford, S. D. and Wal ter Binkerd, Niobrara, were all present at the last rites for their father, Hurley Binkerd, which was held in Verdel Saturday af temoon. Mr and Mrs Otto Ruzicka at tended the card party Thursday evening at the recreational cen ter, which used to be the Ruth school house. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Wells and family visited at the Lyle Wells home Sunday. Mrs. Robert Wells. Billy and Grady went to their home near Inman on Friday af ter having spent the last month with her parents, the Howard Slacks while she recuperated from hepatitis. Lynch News By Mrs. Fred King Mr. and Mrs John Rossmeier, David and Janice, Mr. and Mrs Gerald Rossmeier, Mike and Steve, all of Pierce and Mr. and Mrs Lumir Cizek and sons, Spencer, were Sunday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Le land Moody, Shirley and Brenda and Mrs. Bertha Rossmeier. Mrs. Wayne Major, the former Rama Davis of Riverton, Wyo., is here visiting her mother, Mrs. Gladys Davis at the home of Mrs. Bertha Bare. John Weeder is a patient at the St. Joseph hospital, Sioux City. Mr. Howard Wells returned home this last week after having surgery in Omaha. Patrol Leaders Randy Counts, Judd Allen, Kenneth Heiser, and Greg King took the follow ing boy scouts on a 14 mile hike Sunday, March 24, John Hxjek Curtis Bjornsen, Mauri M.canek David King, Roger Hill, Viacen Birmeier. They left Lynch at a m. and hiked to BrixU/w wtucl is 7 miles. They cooked a mea on a campfire which consisted o steak on a stick and baked po tatoea just east of Bristow. Thej then returned home about 5 p m. This group have now passet part of their 2nd class scout test The Junior class of Lynch higt presented their play, a comedy “The Little Dog Laughed", Fn day, March 22 at 8 p.m. A largt crowd attended as the weathei was very favorable that night. The Bristow American Legion Auxiliary sponsored a pot luck supper honoring the Legion on its birthday Friday, Mar. 22 at 6 30 p.m. Legion members and their wives attended. There was also a program after the supper. Cub Scouts Den No. 2 met at the home of Ella Barnes Monday at 4 p m. They continued work on the wastebaskets they are making to be displayed at the next pack meeting. The March theme is “Around the USA”. The grcJjp discussed an imaginary tour of the South Eastern States of the United States. Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Holz and Leslie and Mr. and Mrs. Don Jokumsen and daughter spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Leuthold and Mrs. Harry Holz, Norfolk. Mr. and Mrs. Berl Moody and family, Sioux City, were in Lynch Sunday visiting Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Moody and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. R. Moody, Nio brara, called on Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Moody, Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Heiser, Rose mary and Kenny were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Courtney and family in honor of Allen’s fifth birth day. Mr. and Mrs. L Christensen and Jerry and Mr. and Mrs. Berl Moody and family, Sioux City, were Sunday dapper guests of Mr and Mrs. C. A. Moody and Mary Jo 9tenger. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Courtney and Sharon visited Sunday after noon with Mr and Mrs. Thomas H. Courtney. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Ruzicka spent Saturday evening there also.
