IMm«r Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Bartak and Mrs. Vonnie Paul and Larry of Elgin visited Mrs. Lodge in West Point on Sunday, they visited Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Lodge and family near Petersburg in the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gibbs were Norfolk visitors on Tuesday. Mrs. Scott Clous of Denver ex pects to undergo surgery for the second time on Wednesday, Feb. 13. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Relmer spent Monday evening at the Don Larson home east of Ewing. Miss Beverly Meyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Meyer of Neligh and Elvon Ziems were married on Sunday, Feb. 10 at I-1 the Clearwater Lutheran church. They will make their home on the Charles McDonald farm at I>eloit where Elvon Ziems lived and farmed the past year. Mr. and Mrs Charles McDonald at tended the Meyer-Ziems wedding at Clearwater on Sunday after noon. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Reimer and Echo Fisher, Neligh, were sup per guests Wednesday at the home of Mrs. Sisson and sons. Mrs. Clarence Schmiser has been a patient in the Antelope Memorial hospital in Neligh where she underwent surgery. Mrs. Clarence Funk was also a patient in the Neligh hospital last week. Mrs. Elizabeth Bartak was hos tess for the Deloit Pinochle club on Thursday. Mrs. Kubart and Maxine Koenig were guests. Mrs. Kubart had high score, Mrs. L. Bartak, low, Mrs. Frank Bohn, traveling and Mrs. L. Bartak got the door prize. Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Mosel of Neligh spent Sunday at the Keith Bartak home. Mrs. Tommy Kaczor was a pa tient in the Neligh hospital last Mr. and Mrs. Ewald Spahn were O’Neill visitors on Wednes day. Mrs. Leona Finch entertained the Help-U club at her home on Wednesday, Feb. 5, with eleven members and one visitor, Mrs. Arthur Sufficool, Verdigre, pre sent. The hostess served a noonday meal, which was followed by an afternoon spent doing needle work. A card party was plannecr for the evening of Feb. 12 at the h-me of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Held with co-hostesses, Mrs. Leona Finch and Mrs. Francis Boelter. A donation was given to the March of Dimes. Mrs. Ora Cas key received the door prize. The next meeting will be with Mrs. Kenneth Waring. Mr. and Mrs. Francis Boelter motored to Fairbury Thursday afternoon where they visited with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Waring were Tuesday, Feb. 4, evening visitors at the home of Leona Finch. Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Held were Tuesday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Held, Nor folk. Burnell Von Seggern injured his arm while playing ball Sunday, and is carrying it in a sling. Mr. and Mrs. H. J. LeMasters and Mr. and Mrs. Max LeMast ers were hosts at the Grimton PTA on Friday evening, Feb. 1. Pitch was played with Mrs. Ora Caskey and Dale Dorr receiving high score prizes Traveling pri zes were won by Mrs. George Heggemeyer and Otto Grosse Lunch was served at the close of the evening. Loren Boelter went to Atkin son Sunday where he visited with Ronnie Asher, who was injured in a farm accident.
