The meeting closed at 9 p.m. Earl Peterson, scribe A Poem From Mrs. Eby ... —Be True to Yourself— No servant can serve two mas ters. Be a true Christian, don’t sit on ihe fence, Make a decision and sit there, don’t keep yourself in suspense. There’s always two sides to a question we know, The right way and wrong way wherever we go. The dear Lord will help us the right way to find, And we’ll read plain and clear when the wrong we’ve declined. In the Civil war, a man didn’t want to take sides, So he doned a blue coat and gray trousers, to deceive he tried. But they shot at him from both sides since he d ied not to show Which way he believed and that way to go. We can’t serve God and mam mon, the Good Book declares, Though we try to be neutral, just one way it fares. Maybe when with ungodly peo ple we don't always confess, That we believe in Jesus and go the way we profess. So let’s get off the fence and strike out this year, And stand for the right without doubt or fear. Della Stuart Eby 4-H Club Notes Sunshine Girls met at the home of Aria Campbell, February 9.
