Celia News Mm. Mark Hendricks Mr. and Mrs. Milton McKath nie and children were guests at the Pleasant View 4-H roller skat ing party at the skating rink in Atkinson ori Friday night. Mrs. Mark Hendricks spent the afternoon visiting with Mrs. Ed Fuhrer, O’Neill, and lkinna Mae on Monday. Mr. and Mrs, John Sicheneder and children look his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sicheneder to Norfolk on Thursday where Mr. Frank Sicheneder entered the hospital for surgery. Rodney Frickel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vic Frickel, was an over night guest of his cousin, Gary Hoffman, on Wednesday night. Vic Frickel and children, Glenn, Bonnie and Beverly, vis ited at the Jnn Sicheneder home on Wednesday night, then Vic was a dinner guest again on Thursday when he helped Jim cut up meat for 'the locker. Mr. and Mrs. Nalchel Rzeszo tarski took Ronnie Liable to his home near Stuart on Thursday and were dinner guests there. Ronnie has been helping with the work at the Rzeszotarski home for the past week or so while Natchel was ill. Michele and Tommy Rzeszotar ski were supjier guests of their grandmother. Mrs. Bertha Gond eringer on Friday night and lat er they attended the basketball games in O'Neill. Mrs. Connie Frickel and Mrs. Frank Kilmurry attended the "Working with Wool" workshop in O’Neill on Tuesday. Mrs. Fric kel represented the Celia Home makers club and Mrs. Kilmurry went as a leader of the Celia 4-H club. Juliene Beck, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Byrl Beck, was an over night guest on Thursday at the Alex Frickel home. Mrs. Alex Frickel visited at the home of her parents, the Joe Liable’s near Stuart on Friday afternoon. Alex Frickel drove to Wood River, Nebr., on business last Fri day. He was accompanied by Jim Sicheneder. Mrs. Erma Colfack, teacher at District 246, entertained her pu pils at parties the past week, hon oring the Focken twins on their 13th and Arlin Hendricks on his 14th birthdays. Dennis Colfack accompanied his senior class to O’Neill on Sat urday where they had their class pictures taken. Harold and Gar old Frickel also went as they too are seniors this year. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Focken jr. and children were Saturday night supper guests at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Focken sr. The Doyle Fockens are moving i > to Atkinson from their former j home in Stuart. Doyle has work at the I. G. A. store in Atkinson. I Miss Dorothy Scott spent the evening at the Clarence Focken home Thursday. i Rob Hendricks helped Frank Kiimurry get a little extra work done on Wednesday. All the farm ers and ranchers were trying to do double work on those few nice days we were permitted this past week. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Meyer sr. drove to Naper on business on Tuesday. Miss Beverly Meyer and Miss Bonnie Ratzlaff spent the week end at the Herman Meyer home The girls are Juniors at the Wayne State Teachers college. Harry Neiman and son Jim of Wayne, Nebr., and David Neiman of O’Neill were visitors at the Herman Meyer sr. home on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Elvon Chace spent the evening at the John Stehwindt home Friday. Little Terry and Marjorie Klin ger spent the weekend with grand ma and grandpa Hendricks.1 Their parents, the Richard Klin gers, came for dinner on Sun day and took the children home. Roy and Mrs. Elmore Blain and sons were supfier guests of the Mark Hendricks Friday. The oc cassion was Arlin Hendricks birthday. Mr. and Mrs. David Rahn were Thursday night supper guests at the Robert Hendricks, then on Friday night the Hendricks were guests at the Leonard Chaffin home for supper. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Ander son were Sunday dinner guests of the Herman Meyer’s. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Deermer and girls, Linda and Marrianne, visited at the Jim Sicheneder home on Tuesday evening. Stanley and Bonnie Dobrovol ny visited at the home of their sister, the Alvin Heisers on Wed nesday, staying for supper. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Heiser were in O’Neill on business Thursday. Charles Chaffin worked at the home of his uncle, Murry Mel lor, all week. Mrs. Leonard Chaffin spent the afternoon with her sister, Mrs. Russ Hipke on Thursday and Wednesday afternoon she visited with her mother, Mrs. Jess Mel lor. Mr. and Mrs. John Schwindt were Sunday night supper guests at the Joe Desieve home in At kinson. Vanitte Schwindt was a guest of Kathy Osborne and Linda Bon enberger at a roller skating par ty sponsored by the Clover 4-H club on Sunday evening. Mrs. Leonard Chaffin and children, Charles, Linda and Ed ith were Sunday dinner guests of the Jess Mellors in Atkinson, honoring Mrs. Chaffins birthday. Mr. Lawrence Smith and son, Rollin of Page, were visitors at the Leonard Chaffin home on Sat urday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Hendricks and Arlin, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Klinger and children, Miss Dor othy Scott, Rev. and Mrs. El more Blain and sons and Mr. and Mrs. Omer Points of Stuart were supper guests of the Ro bert Hendricks on Saturday. The supper was in honor of Arlin Hendricks 14th birthday. Mrs. Dorothy Hoffman attend ed the 4-H leaders meeting at the Annex in O’Neill on Monday night. The meeting included the election of officers for the com- , ing year.
