Celia News Mrs. Mark Hendricks Mr. and Mrs. Herman Meyer sr. were in Royal Wednesday where they visited at the home of their nephew, Mr and Mrs- Char ley Meyer and family and Mrs. Mable Meyer. They also visited in Orchard at the Ted Meyer liome. Mr. John Meyer of Mur tang, Idaho, was also a guest there. John, Herman and Ted are brothers. Mr. Bill Walters, a teacher at the Atkinson High School, was a dinner guest at the Vic Frickel home on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. John Sicheneder and children were Sunday dinner guests of the George Mintles at Chambers. The Mintles are for mer neighbors of the Sicheneders. Mr. and Mrs. John Sicheneder and children and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sicheneder drove to Roy al on Saturday, where they vis ited at the home of Mrs. John Sicheneder’s mother, Mrs. Ferne Morsett. Dinner guests at the Mark Hen dricks home on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Omer Points of Stuart, and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Chaf fin and Charles, Linda and Ed --- , ith. Mrs. Richard Klinger and child ren and Myra Klinger spent the aftern<Jon at the Mark Hendricks home on Saturday. Robert, Becky and Bobby Hendricks were din ner guests at the M. Hendricks home Saturday. Mrs. Robert Hendricks, Ricky and Rhonda -were dinner guests at the Omer Points home on Sat urday. In the afternoon Mrs. Point accompanied her to Stuart where they visited at the home of Mr. ami Mrs. Frank Wilson. Charles Chaffin helped with the work at the home of his uncle, Murry Mellor on Friday. Rev. and Mrs. Elmer Blain and twin boys were dinner guests of the Leonard Chaffins on 9unday, the 27th of January. Mrs. Aarron Lange and Marion visited at the home of Mrs. Hans Lauridson in Atkinson on Friday night while the boys attended the basketball game. Hans and Jim Lauridson call ed at the Louis Lauridson home near Spencer on Saturday. Rodney Osborne, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Osborne, Atkin son, was an all day guest of the Hans Lauridsons on Sunday, the 27th of January. Mr. and Mrs. John Schwmdt and Vanita visited at the Eld Hei ser home on Wednesday. Stanley Johnson was a dinner guest at the J. Sicheneder home on Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Denton Colfack and baby of Niobrara were Sun day dinner guests at the Emil Colfack home. Gary Hoffman was an over night guest at the home of his cousins, the Vic Frickel children on Monday night. Mrs. Duke Hoffman and son, Gary, attended the basketball games in Atkinson on Thursday and Friday nights. Mrs. Hoffman reports that an other of her pupils, Lois Poess necker is down with the chicken pox. Little Peggy, (laughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sicheneder, is also having her turn with them. The Celia 4-Hers met at the John Schwindt home on 9unday. After their business meeting they tried in vain to find a place to finish their meeting which was to have ended with an ice skat ing party, but the weather man was ahead of them and they had to give in to the water instead. They will hold their next meet ing at the Duke Hoffman home on March 17. Maybe they can have their ice skating party then. Miss Dorothy Scott was a sup per guest at the Robert Hendricks home last Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hendricks have been helping the Leonard Chaffins and Charles get the old place repaired and wired. Char les will move there in a week or so to make his home. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Hendricks were dinner guests at the Omer Points home near Stuart on Thursday. The Wesleyan Methodist Youth group met at the Merrill Ander son home on Tuesday night for an ice skating party. They made home made ice cream following the skating, and enjoyed a lunch of sandwiches, cake, hot choco late and ice cream. Other guests of the evening were Mr. and Mrs. Mark Hendricks, Mr. and Mrs Leonard Chaffin and Mrs. Fred Cearns. Mark and Robert Hendricks at tended the C. C. supper for the ranchers and farmers of this area on Monday night. Others attend ing from this community were Ed Heiser, John Sicheneder and Vic Frickel. They report having a very enjoyable evening. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Collins and children, Mark and Carmen, of Omaha were guests at the par ental homes on Thursday and Friday. They returned to Omaha on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs Robert Hend ricks accompanied Connie Frickei to the Miller farm sale on Wed nesday. Rhonda and Rickey stayed with their Aunt, Mrs. Fnckel. Mr. and Mrs. Bennet Smith, Butte, visited the home of her brother, Mr and Mrs Connie Frickei, Friday evening. Nancy and Juliene, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Byrl Beck were Sunday, Jan. 27 visitors at the home of their uncle, the Alex Fnckels. Vic Frickei helped his neigh bor, Jim Sicheneder, butcher a hog Friday p.m. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Meals and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Meals vis ited at the Natchel Rzeszotarski home on Tuesday evening. Mr Rzeszotarski is still feeling on the low side, since having the flu. Doyle and Clarence Focken jr. visited with their parents, the Clarence Focken sr’s on Wed nesday evening. The Bill Fockens came up for the weekend re turning to his work in Hastings on Sunday. Mr and Mrs. Duane Beck and children were dinner guests at the home of his mother, Mrs. Helen Beck in Atkinson on Sat urday. Mrs. Marvel Jean Baten horst and daughter, Lynette were DR. D. E. Mr. and Mrs. John Sicheneder and children and Mr. and Mrs. Charley Morsett and sons were Sunday guests at the home of Mrs. Feme Morsett of Royal.
