Jeanette Woidneck, the ten year
old daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Marion Woidneck, had the mis
fortune of breaking her leg while
riding on her sled Wednesday.
Her leg was put in a cast and
she remained at the hospital Wed
nesday night, returning home
Thursday and will have to use
crutches for a month.
Many family gatherings were
enjoyed during the holidays and
the weather man didn’t interfere
to much Some of the forecasts
on Christmas eve and Christmas
day didn't sound very favorable,
but they didn’t develop into as
bad of weather, as forecast, al
though the travel rates were
slowed up a bit due to the icy
road conditions.
Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Hubby en
tertained Christmas day. Their
guests were Mr. and Mrs. Ho
ward House and Lloyd, Mr. and
Mrs. Delbert House and family,
Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Rouse
and boys, Mr. and Mrs. Dave
Jensen. Carrie Borg and Marvel.

Gaylen Hull, Fontanelle, la.,
came Sunday to spend Christmas
eve and part of Christmas day
with his parents, Mr. and Mrs
Loyal Hull. Their daughter and
son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Duane
Booth, Creighton were dinner
guests Christmas day and they
received greetings over the wire
from their daughter, Lois Hull,
Chicago and their son, Don and
family, New Berg, N. Y.
Levi Hull spent the Christmas
holidays in 9ioux City with rela
