The Leisure Hour Pinochle club met Dec 'J for their Christmas party at the home of Mr. ami Mrs Ed Mlinar. The ladies revealed their mys tery sisters witfi a gift exchange and drew names for the coming year. The prizes were won by Mrs Anton Wrichman and Mrs. Char les Mlinar, Eli McConnell and Charles Mlinar. The traveling prize going to Mrs Ralph Hies. The next party will be January <i at the home of Mr. anil Mrs. Orville Hitchcock. Morris Pongratz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Pongratz, is spending the Christmas holiday at the home of his parents. Mr and Mrs. Harold Winkler and family. Denver, are spend ing 2 weeks here visiting his folks, Mr, and Mr*. Joe Wink ler and her folks, the White# of Spencer. Mr and Mrs. Charles Winkler and family, Atkinson, were Sun day dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Winkler. Jerry Shoemaker, O'Neill, spent Friday night at the home of El mer Schaaf. Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Huston and family, Emmet, spent the last weekend at Omaha to spend Christmas with Mr and Mrs Gtff Caldwell Father O'Donnell, Emmet, was a Tuesday evening supiier guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Pongratz and family Kita and Janice Vequest and Carlene and Dick Pongratz at tended the basketball games be tween Stuart and St. Mary's Fri day night at Stuart. Delores Pettinger visited at the home of Mrs. Joe pongratz last Sunday afternoon. Mrs Joe Pon gratz visited Mr. and Mrs. Joe Winkler Tuesday afternoon. Hutton and family, Vermilion, Canada, came Friday evening to spend Christ inas visiting Mr. Hutton's par ents, Mr. and Mrs. T. D. Hutton. Kay Kelley and Keith Kivett, Wayne State Teachers college stu dents, arrived Thursday evening to spend the holidays visiting their parents, Mr and Mrs W. E. Kelley and family and Mr. and Mrs. Vaden Kivett. Mr and Mrs. Albert Reynolds and daughters attended the Christmas program and box so cial at the Redbird school Wed nesday evening. The Reynolds showed slides of the trip they made this summer to the World's Fair. Mr. and Mrs. Hilliam Slioles arid daughter and Mrs. Helen Sholes, Buhl, Idaho, came Wed nesday evening, being called by the death of their mother-in-law and grandmother, Mrs. Sarah E Sholes. They returned to Idaho aaiuruay. Mr. and Mrs. George L. Colman and Randy left Saturday morn ing for Grand Forks, N. D. where they will spend the holidays vis iting their son-in-law and daugh ter, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Brandts and son. Billy Jackson accompanied his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Burival and Maik to Nampa, Idaho., Friday where they will spend Christmas visiting Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Jackson and Lori. Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Clark have j moved into their new home in the west part of town. Mr. and Mrs. James Coventry and Bill spent Christmas evening and Christmas day visiting Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Hartigan and family at St. Paul. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Leonard, Wakefield, and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Clark and family, O’Neill, visited Mrs. Violet Sholes Friday after noon. The Inman Workers Project club met Tuesday evening for their regular meeting and Christ mas party at the home of Mrs. Karl Keyes. Mystery sisters were revealed and new names were drawn. A short program was giv en. Mrs. Keyes served a nice lunch in keeping with Christmas at the close of the evening.
