The pu pils wore their costumes to school. They removed their masks but kept their costumes on having a party later in the day. Many shots were heard as the deer and pheasant seasons op ened. Some hunters returned home with smiles, as they brought their game with them Sunday. Hicky Devall, Hon Kail hull and Steve Peterson each got a deer Sunday. Mr.-,. Arlene was the honored guest as it was her birthday anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Walters visited at the Don Rich home at Dakota Cily Monday, Oct. 22. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Warren and Mrs. Anna Havranek, Phillip, S. D., Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Lar son, Plainview and Mrs. Rosa Bowers were Sunday dinner guests at the Marion Woidneck home. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lindberg called at he home of Mrs. Ina Worth Sunday. Her daughter, son in-law and granddaughter, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Page and Bar bara arrived last Monday and plan to return next Tuesday to their home at San Bernardino, Calif. The Green Thumb flower club met Wednesday at the home of Rose Roberts. Twelve members and three visitors were present.
