The 9eger ambulance service transferred Bill Ahie to the Vet erans hospital in Grand Island Monday afternoon. Mr. Able fell from a roof several days ago, breaking his neck and has been hospitalized here. He would ap preciate hearing from his many friends in this area. Mr and Mrs. Brook Stuart and family will come Thursday to vis it his mother, Frances Stuart and his aunt, Mrs. Sophia Brown. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kaczor met him in Norfolk. He enlisted in the armed forces 3 years ago. The first twenty months he spint in the eastern states, the last six teen months he has been in Italy. On his furloughs and free time he toured nine countries in Eur ope. The greatest problem seem ed to be the language barrier and exchange of money. He received an honorable discharge in New York and returned home on a southern route, making short stops to visit relatives in Ten nessee, Kansas City.
