Celia News Mrs. Mark Hendricks The Celia 4-H club met at the Thilo Poesanecker home. It was the last meeting for 1962 They elected the following officers for the coming year which will star; with the January meeting. Presi dent, Dorothy Poeaanecker; vice president, Joan Straka; secre tary-treasurer, Vanita Schwindt, and news reporter, Patty Straka. Mrs. Dorothy Hoffman was chos en as overall lea<ler for the com ing term with Mrs. Vivian Schwindt as her assistant. They will have a roller skating party on the ninth of November. Hubert Springer and Sterling Dyer, Exeter, Nebr., were guests at the Hans Lauridsen home Fri day und Saturday. Mr. Springer is a cousin of Mrs. Lauridson. Mrs. Herbert Rausch. Santa Barbara. Calif., visited the past week with her brothers, Hans. Jim and Louis Lauridson and families. She is the former Elva Lauridson. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Wayman and sons were dinner guests of the Bob Hendricks family Sun day. Mr and Mrs. Mark Hendricks and Arlin were Sunday dinner guests at the Omer Points home near Stuart. Mrs. Hendricks is a sister of Mrs. Bob Risor, Butte Mrs. Paul Nelson, O’Neill, called at Hendricks homes Mon day to visit with her brother and wife, the Joe Hendricks. The Rev. and Mrs. Ivan Meyer and family, Wayne, visited at the Herman Meyer sr. home Satur day. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Meyer sr. and Mrs. Herman Meyer jr. and Vickie spent the day in O' Neill Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hend ricks called at the Terry Wilson ranch and also at the Omer Points home Thursday. Mrs. Hans Lauridson was among those from this commun ity that attended the funeral of Mrs. Dean Anderson in Atkinson Saturday. The Andersons were neighbors of the Lauridsons at one time. Mr. and Mrs. Alex Frickei and children were dinner guests Sun day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Laible. Others present were Father Adrian, Elkhom, Mr. and Mrs. Fred White jr. and family, Schuyler, and Mr. and Mrs Felix Laible. Stuart. Mrs. Alvin Heiser reports that her grandmother, Mrs. Frank Dobrovolny, Atkinson, is home from the hospital and is improv ing slowly. Bill Focken, Hastings, visited at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Focken sr. He went to Valentine to see his brother Sunday returning to Hastings Sunday evening. Miss Karen Focken spent last weekend with her parents. She attends school at the Sunshine Bible Academy at Miller, S. D. Melvin Meals was a dinner guest at the Natchel Rzeszotarski home Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Huertz and sons, Danny and Tom, Le Mars, la., visited the Natchel Rzeszotarski home Friday. They came to the Black Friday sale, where the hoys purchased calves for 4-H. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Focken vis ited at the Clarence Focken home Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Ceams call ed at the Natchel Rzeszotarski home Monday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Natchel Rzeszo tarski visited in Norfolk this past week. Dorothy Scott was a supper guest at the Frank Kilmurry home Wednesday evening. Mrs. Kilmurry and Mrs. Rzes zotarski report their roses are blooming again for the third time this season. We are all en joying this beautiful near sum mer weather, each day getting better as we know winter must come some time. Mrs Vic Frickcl, Beverly and Bethene visited with Mrs Art Harley Monday. Francis Poessnecker and Joan Jones spent the weekend with Bonnie and Vicky Frickel. Gary Hoffman was an over night guest of his cousins the Vic Fnckel children Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs Ed Hetaer ami children drove to Chamberlain S. D., last Sunday where they visited another daughter and hus band, Mr. and Mrs Gerald Mc Leish. The Celia 4-H club will hold their reorganizational meeting with election of officers Friday evening at the Thilo Poessnecker liome. Mrs. John Schwindt, club leader, expressed the hope all members will be present. Mr. and Mrs. John Sicheneder and family were dinner guests Sunday of John's parents, Mr and Mrs. Frank Sicheneder. Mr. and Mrs. Milton McKath nie and family were Sunday eve ning guests of Mr. and Mrs John Schwindt and Vanita. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hendricks and family were Saturday eve ning visitors at the home of Mr and Mrs. John Sicheneder and family. The Celia Homemakers met Wednesday with Mrs. Mark Hen dricks. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Beck and family had dinner Saturday with Lou- parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hen ry Dobrovolny. Lois' sister, Mrs Carl Reddmgton, Hyanms, was also visiting at her parents home Mrs. Paul Nelson visited her sister, Mrs. Connie Frickel and family Monday afternoon. Mrs. Erma Colfack and Mrs LeUoy Holt man attended the NSIA meeting at the Legion hall in O'Neill Saturday. Mark Collins, wno spent the past week with his grandparents Mr and Mrs. Connie Frickel, re turned to his home in Omaha Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Char les Braun Mr and Mrs. Braun spent the weekend with their par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Gilbert and Mr. and Mrs Fred Braun. Mrs. Duane Beck, Cheryl, San dra and Lowell were supper guests Monday evening with Mrs Helen Beck in Atkinson. Dorothy Scott was a supper guest Sunday of Mr. and Mrs Duane Beck.
