Mr. Robertson gave undying at tention and devotion to a switch at his home at Joy so that we in this rural area could have con nection with the town of O'Neill and outside points. After the passing of Mr. Robertson, a new telephone company was organized known as the Leorne Telephone Co., and a new line, commencing at Senator Frank Nelson's ranch and running to O'Neill serving twenty patrons was construoted. A little over a year ago the Bell Telephone company moved into the community and construc t'd a line which ultimately will be a dial system. Last week the Leonie Telephone co. called out their members and the old line was removed, thus passing, be cause of the wheel of progress, a system of communication which served us all very well and which rather pulls at the heart strings of some of us who have lived through and enjoyed the old neighborly line so much.
