A Poem From Mrs. Eby... —My Mother’s K»ro Havr 1 with thoughtless fingers penned the writing on her brow? Kraced the twinkle from her eye* that should be smil ing now? Did I with youthful) Indifference brush her hair with ofl glory streak. And boldly with that streak crare the nan from her cheek With tons of worry did 1 crush her heart that bled soft with tears? That paved the way my feet have walki'd through all die passion years? What can 1 do? What ttwilight can convey ? To *how I’m sorry fur the years that left her old and gray To wish that I could slay the time ami with my heart eraee. Each thoughtless act that 1 have Carved in her old lovely face. In the navy 1 have iwiwed In awe before the lashing sea, but 1 have never been nearer Christ than at iny mother's knee. . Selected The Frontier DRIVE IN THEATRE Frl.-Sat.
