Alice Shrader went to Norfolk Friday morning to spend the weekend at the Dan Brunner home, Mrs. Keith Biddlecome was an overnight guest last Sunday at the Joe Hegr home near Leigh. George Montgomery visited in O’Neill Wednesday afternoon. Mrs Richard Napier acd Mr*. John Napier went to Neligh Fri day afternoon to get the lesson on Care of Carpets and Rugs for their project club. Sonjia Napier spent the afternoon with her aunt Betty. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Stanton and her son, Yuba City, Calif., came last Sunday afternoon to the Z. H. Fry home and were also overnight and supper guests. Ot her supper guests were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Reimer. Evening visitors were the Wayne Fry fam ily, Mr. and Mrs. Willie Shrader and David and Mrs. Dale Napier and nieces, Sonjia, Susan, Reta and Nancy Napier Mr. and Mrs. Dale Napier and the Wayne Fry and Richard Na pier families were dinner guests Sunday at the Z. H. Fry home. The gathering was in honor of Richard Napier, Jane and Wayne Fry’s birthdays. Mrs. Ralph Shrader entertain ed the United Presbyterian Wo men Thursday afternoon at her home Mrs. Ora Switzer helped furnish the lunch and Mrs. Wen dell Switzer helped with the serv ing. Alice Shrader gave the les son from the seventh chapter ui Romans on “Sin and the Law” and Mrs. Wendell Switzer re viewed the topic from the Pro gram Guide ‘‘Women in New Na tions of Africa”. Sixteen mem bers answered roll call with a verse from the book of Romans. They will meet with Mrs. Leo Miller in October. The Riverside Free Methodist Missionary society met Friday af ternoon with Mrs. Dave Pollock. There were ten members and one visitor present. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Fry and Sheila and Mr and Mrs. Dewitt Hoke attended the football game Friday evening at Stuart between Ewing and Stuart. Robert Mc Daniel took a car load of pep club girls and William Lofquist took a car load of football boys to the game. Mr. and Mrs. Z. H. Fry were O’Neill visitors Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Mott, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Mott, Sharon and Tammy were dinner guests Sun day at the Esther Mae Barnhart home in Neiigh. Mr. and Mrs Rudy Ahlers vis ited at the Martin Helmricks home last Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Pierson were guests at the Marvin Prib now home near Albion Friday. Their grandchildren, Maranna, Diane and Lee Pribnow came home with them for a few days visit and plan to return home either Mondav or Tuesday. Lewis Vandorsnick called at the Wayne Fry home Thursday af ternoon and took his son and daughter, Jerry and Sandra, home with him. They stayed at the Fry home while their mother was in the hospital with a new baby.
