Clayton Elsberry, 'un cle oi the bridegroom, assisted by Rev Irving Discher performing the double ring ceremony. Tb< bride is the eldest daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Darrell An son who live midway between Royal and Brunswick. The bride groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Elsberry, Royal. The wedding musk was furnish ed by Mrs. B. Mahood, Tikfen^ who sang “The Wedding Prayer” and "(Because” accompanied by Mrs. Glaze Reed, Osmond. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor-length gown of nylon lace over taffeta with a nylon net underskirt and a pleated front insertion. The bo dice featured a scalloped neckline with long fitted sleeves. Her el bow-length veil of imported silk illusion was caught to a tiara of rhinestones. She carried a cascade bouquet of stephanotis centered with a la vender orchid corsage. Miss Carolyn Anson served as maid of honor. She wore a ny lon gown of orchid sheer with a taffeta lining and an empire waist Clusters of flowers accent each side of the deep square neckline. .Matching gowns were worn by the bridesmaids, Cheryl Anson, and Jeanette Elsberry. Each car ried a bouquet of lilac-tinted car nations with matching ribbons and streamers. Each wore match ing headpieces of orchid and white. Bestman for his brother was Eldon Elsberry with Harold Sen seney and Ronald Elsberry, cou sins of the bridegroom, as groomsmen. Ushers were Arnold Frahm and Harold Senseney. Julie Milne was flower girl and Diane Milne and Frederic Anson were ring bearers. Sharon Ramalia presided at the guest book and Shirley Lichty at the gift book. Assisting with the gifts were Cherlyn Frahm, Anita Anderson, Judy Reynolds and Betty Elsberry. Following the ceremony a re ception was held with approxi mately 200 guests attending. The bride is a graduate of the Brunswick high school where she excelled in scholastic attainments and in music. The bridegroom is a graduate of the Royal high school. After a short wedding trip to Jackson and Yellowstone Nation al park, the couple will reside in Buelah, Wyo. Nifty Needier’s The Nifty Needlers 4-H club held its regular meeting on July 5 a: the home of Janice Heiss. Jolene Grass, president, called the meeting to order. Group sing ing started the meeting. All mem bers were present and answered roll by telling how they improve their personal appearance. Bread pans were judged at the meeting. Andrea Wettkuilfer gave a demonstration on cinnamon rolls. Janice Heiss showed how to prepare a vegetable plate. Nancy Nissen demonstrated the making of cornbread. Mary Jane Beelaert was in charge of the games. A swimming party will be held July 18. ST. Gallagher Killed July 3 In Tractor Accident Robert J. Gallagher, 49, farmer living 14 miles northwest of O’ Neill was killed Tuesday eve ning in a tractor accident. Mr. Gallagher was repairing fence when the tractor overturned pinning him beneath. He was found by John Cleary and son, Larry, who removed the tractor and called for the ambulance. Mr. Gallagher died enroute to the hospital. Funeral services were held Fri day, 10 a.m. in Biglin’s Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Robert Duffy officiated and burial was in Pros pect Hill cemetery. Pallbearers were William Murray, Larry Cleary, Bob Hill, Dean Hallock, Jim Earley and Gordon Johnson. Robert J. Gallagher was born December 29, 1912, a son of Thomas J. and Julia Ernst Gal lagher. He was reared on a farm and attended rural school. On June 30, 1934 he was unit ed in marriage to Dorret Rich ards of Atkinson at Yankton. S. D. The couple became the parents of two daughters. Survivors are: Wife, Dorret; daughters. In the evening she accompanied them to the cele bration in Neligh while the little daughter stayed with her grand mother, Mrs. Minerva Forslund. Baptismal services were held Sunday during the morning wor ship hour at tjie First Methodist church, Ewing, for James Mil ton Burtwistle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Burtwistle, Ewing. He was also celebrating his first birthday. The Rev. Lester Spragg officiated. Sponsors were Mrs. Catherine Carlson, West Palm Beach, Fla. and James II. Pru den, Ewing, and the honorary sponsor was his great aunt, Mrs. Ben Larsen, Ewing. In honor of the two occasions, his parents were hosts for a fam ily dinner party at their home, following the services. Two birth day cakes on musical cake stands centered the table, one made and decorated by his grandmother, Mrs. J. L. Pruden. James also received many gifts.
